Technics, again

Post by Dr3d Sl3d »

Technics have announced the development of an updated direct-drive motor, sans iron core, to preclude "cogging," and the use of self-lubricating metal parts and a triple-layer platter with damping rubber.

Two new SL-1200s are to be made available for sale this year.

One of these is the 50th anniversary model, "Grand Class SL-1200GAE."
