This issue has an article that covers four cutting studios.
On page 49, RIchard Simpson, of The Reference Point Cutting Room, who mastered "Take Me Home Country Roads" and "Afternoon Delight," explains, "...I do a lot of promotion work. For instance, I just cut 200 sides as promo samplers for a new rock band, and when the Jacksons did Blame It On The Boogie I had to do 50 to 60 copies for radio station distribution..."
