rocking bridge

Post by Fonotec » 30 Mar 2015, 20:18

The rocking bridge replaces the torque tube, which improves efficiency, and the hinge design allows for extremely fast accelerations (translating to frequency range at power) - examples are usually ruler-flat to above 22 kcps and have usable response to 40 kc, with feedback starting around 4 Hz and going up to 150 kHz on the best models. This is the general design used for CD-4 vinyl discs with quadrophonic audio, as well as audiophile, stereo monogrooves.
